We are so excited to announce our new Aerial Essentials Large Portable Rig as a rig that we trust for professional use. We have tested many rigs over the years, and we have found this rig to be one of the most stable and reliable for dynamic movements, duo acts, and much more! This rig reaches a height of approximately 21 ft when fully assembled, or you can set it up without all of the leg pieces for smaller spaces.

Included Rig Components:

  • Header with 3 attachment points
  • 16 support legs
  • 16 leg connectors
  • 36 lock pins
  • 4 rubberized feet
  • Custom strap for securing base of rig
  • 4 Delta Quick Links for easy strap attachment
All components (shown in the photo) together weigh around 320 lbs.  The support legs and header are the longest pieces, at around 67" in length each. The header is the heaviest piece at around 36 lbs.  Each support leg is around 13.5 lbs. each.
 
The header and feet are pre assembled for easy setup. The header, support legs, leg connectors and feet are all black matte powder coated steel.
 
The header has 3 attachment points.  (24" from center of 1st to 3rd point).  There is no threading and all components are secured with easy to use locking pins (provided).  Also included are 4 delta quick links and a custom made strap to secure the base of the rig  when in use.
 
We are currently listing the WLL (Working Load Limit) at 500 lbs however plan to do more extensive load testing to determine if larger weight loads can be supported.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION: Your shipping is not included in the price and will not be charged yet. These large rigs require freight shipping, and we will determine your exact shipping cost based on your address.
 
Residential addresses will incur higher freight costs. However, commercial addresses must have a loading dock and forklift to be eligible for commercial shipping rates. This is 11mm Static Kernmantle Rigging Rope. Perfect fit for our aerial pulleys and ready to support any aerial artist during the show. This rope is rated for over 7300lbs (33.3 kN).

Strength rating over 7,300lbs (33.3 kN).
Material: Polyester / Nylon Core Weight per meter: 90 g/m.
Elongation: 2.2% at 1.35kn (300lbs) - 4.4% at 2.7kn (600 lbs) - 7.4% at 4.4kn (1000lbs).

We recommend this pulley system for use on portable aerial rig so that load is distributed evenly across your rig.  This pulley system can also be used to lift performers on a portable rig.

This system is designed for use on our 20ft portable rig, and it can be used on most portable rigs of a similar height. This system does require points to clip into on the header and feet of your rig. If you need to create rig points on the header of your rig, we recommend our 12 inch sling loops.
